As Operations Manager of Tropics International Ltd., Jason leads the organization in service of its mission by addressing limited access to quality education, educational inequity, food insecurity, climate instability, and poverty. Knowing that organizational impact requires the seamless integration of logistics and empathy, he brings a deep commitment to managing the operational frameworks that support diverse initiatives across both Brooklyn, New York and Uganda. Jason serves as a key leader in ensuring that the foundation’s internal systems directly enable the high-level strategic goals of building sustainable, climate-resilient communities.

Jason’s background as an experienced educator and executive functioning coach instilled in him a desire to use his expertise to tackle systemic injustice and inequality. He began his career by designing personalized learning experiences for neurodivergent individuals, specializing in evidence-based approaches for dyslexia and ADHD. Over his seven years in education, he has mastered the ability to coordinate complex instructional programs, managing everything from New York State-required high school curricula to specialized literacy interventions that empower individuals to exceed self-imposed boundaries.

In his role at Tropics International, Jason oversees the operational delivery of projects aimed at reversing poor agricultural practices and mitigating climate instability. He manages the coordination of educational programs that equip local farmers and students with the tools for climate-resilience, ensuring that efforts to combat food insecurity are supported by rigorous data and efficient resource allocation. By implementing systems for measuring impact and managing the logistics of scholarship distribution, he ensures that the organization’s work to alleviate poverty remains transparent and effective across all jurisdictions.

Jason holds specialized expertise in project-based learning and executive function coaching, bringing a structured approach to nonprofit management. His mission is to empower every client and community partner with the confidence and independent problem-solving skills needed to thrive in the face of environmental and economic challenges.
